Esports Betting Market Types
Esports betting has a variety of markets, just like football. Understanding these markets will help you make smarter betting decisions.
- Match Winner — Pick which team or player will win the final match.
- Map / Round Handicap — Levels the betting odds in uneven matchups by giving one side a head start.
- Total Maps Over/Under — Choose whether the number of maps played in a match will be over or under the given line.
- First Blood / First Objective — Choose which side will be first to achieve the opening game objective.
- Tournament Outright — Bet on the overall winner of an entire tournament in advance, with higher odds available.
- Live In-Play Betting — Place bets in real time while a match is in progress.
How Esports Odds Work
Odds are the numbers that show how much you can win based on how much you bet. Higher odds mean that team or player is considered harder to win, so the payout is bigger if they do.
Example — if you bet 10,000 Ks on Team A at odds of 2.5 and Team A wins, you get 25,000 Ks (including your original 10,000 Ks). Odds are usually shown in decimal format, which is easy for Myanmar players to understand.
In Live In-Play Betting, odds change in real time while the match is going on, so players who can make quick decisions may find more opportunities.
